- Does the control hardware always stay where i assigned it to? Or does it follow focus in my DAW? Both has advantages and disadvantages, and things would have to be set up differently. Are there options, so that whenever i open Omnisphere it automatically remembers my controllers and assigns them accordingly, or do i have to do it always.
- You also need to Patch both Omnisphere.dll files in Program Data. All 4.Dll's need to be patched or Omnisphere will not work! (You also need to do it again when you UPDATE Omnisphere) When done, open your DAW (I used FL Studio) in Admin mode, Load an instance of Omnisphere 2, and it will give you a Challenge Code.
| Hi everybody! Does anybody else have issues with Omnisphere 2 in terms of loading times of the GUI? In particular, if you load up a project - and open a track with Omni2 on it, its a delay of about 30 seconds until the GUI shows up. (S1 is not reactive in that time, too..) Made the same test with Bitwig Studio, and there is only a delay about 5 seconds until the GUI shows up. Anyone else can test this, or is it already a known issue? | Yes, it's been slower to load for me also. I got both Omni2 and S1 3 at about the same time. Always assumed it was the new Omni that was slow. Everything else loads at the same speed. S1 3 definately has worse CPU performance than V2 for me. |

| See I talked about a maximum of 2000 ms of lag for the gui to open. I don't have any difference in omni load times on my beast of a computer in different daws was my point. | Omni 2.1 released this morning. Improvements include fixing the slow load/boot time for Omni 2. So, apparently it was Omni, not Studio One. Haven't tried it out yet, just woke up. |

Intel makes a crappy driver. I would look for an update to that. Check with your pc manufacturer website, as sometimes windows incorrectly reports the installed driver to be the most current.
